Liberal Geoffrey Kelley has held onto his seat of Jacques-Cartier for the fifth consecutive time.
In early results, he defeated CAQ candidate Paola L. Hawa in a landslide.

Kelley first jumped into politics when he was elected in 1994 and then again in 1998. He served as the Liberal’s critics in family policy and native affairs.
He was re-elected in 2003 and 2007 but was not re-appointed to cabinet until 2011 when he was named Minister of Indian Affairs.
