Although RCMP said officers responded to fewer calls at this year’s Craven Country Jamboree, they were still called to six assault with a weapon calls over the weekend.
Police responded to 114 calls for service at the festival site from July 14-17, down 35 calls from last year.
Of those calls, three were for impaired driving and one for cruelty to an animal.

In addition, there were two drug-related calls, three for theft, nine for mischief to property, and 22 for disturbing the peace calls.
Booze accounted for the highest number of calls as 39 alcohol-related calls were responded to.
A total of 47 people were taken into custody.
RCMP were also present on the surrounding highways, where they issued 72 speeding tickets.
