Montreal police are asking for the public’s help to locate a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run in downtown Montreal that sent an 18-year-old woman to hospital in critical condition.

The collision happened at around 2: a.m. Friday at the corner of Fort Street, near Tupper Street.

Police said the driver of a SUV failed to stop after hitting the woman.

They have since released surveillance camera footage of the vehicle they believe was involved in the hit-and-run. The SUV police are looking for appears about five seconds into the video.
