HAMILTON – Hamilton police have charged two people following an investigation into the sex trafficking of a girl.
Police allege the girl – whose age has not been released – was recruited into prostitution by the two accused.
Spokeswoman Catherine Martin says the force’s vice and drug unit was notified last week of the alleged trafficking.

Two Hamilton residents were arrested Monday and jointly charged with five offences.
Stephen Ball, 49, and Nicole Sendecki, 27, face charges of transporting a person to a common bawdy house, owning a bawdy house and material benefit.
They’re also charged with adult trafficking in persons under 18 and living off the avails of juvenile prostitution, in what Hamilton police say is the first time they have brought charges for those offences.
The two accused are currently held in custody pending a court appearance on Thursday.
