A man is recovering in hospital following a stabbing in Prince Albert, Sask.
Police said officers were on routine patrol early Sunday morning when they saw two men arguing in the 200-block of 15th Street West.

One man fled on foot when officers stopped.
The other man had a stab wound. He was taken to hospital with what police believe to be non-life threatening injuries.
Police dog Daxa was called in and tracked the first man to the 300-block of 13th Street West.
A 32-year-old Prince Albert man was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.

He was scheduled to appear Monday morning in Prince Albert provincial court.
Police said they do not believe the stabbing to have been a random act.
