‘Skyfall’ premieres in London to serious fanfare

TORONTO – The world’s favourite British secret agent may be elusive on the big screen, but he was front-and-centre on the red carpet. 

The world premiere of Skyfall took place in London’s Albert Hall on Tuesday night with the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall making red carpet appearances.

British star Daniel Craig returns to play James Bond for his third big screen adventure, working this time with “Road to Perdition” director, Sam Mendes. He was joined on the red carpet by a star-studded cast that included Javier Bardem, Dame Judi Dench, and Bond girls Naomie Harris and Berenice Marlohe, amongst others.
