WINNIPEG — Couples hoping to save some money on their wedding can now tie the knot at Winnipeg City Hall.
The city is also on the hunt to find the first couple to get married at city hall, located at 510 Main St.

If you would like to enter, head to the city’s marriage ceremony contest, and send a brief description of your love story. If you get picked, the city will waive your marriage fee.
Applications close on Oct. 28. The winners will be picked shortly after.
The cost to get married at city hall is $500 per wedding service.
