Halifax Regional Police are investigating a second case of chocolate bar tampering in the city.
A 13-year-old girl was going through her Halloween candy when she allegedly found a razor blade inserted inside the wrapper of a chocolate bar. Police say the girl was trick-or-treating in the area of Albro Lake Road and Lancaster Drive on Monday.

Investigators are also looking into claims that a 12-year-old boy was cut on his finger by a razor blade that was shoved inside a candy bar. In that instance, the boy was trick-or-treating in the Spryfield area.

Police are encouraging both parents and children to be vigilant in checking Halloween treats and report any candy tampering to police.
In both cases, officers will examine the candy bars for any evidence.
