Pedestrian in hospital after being hit by car in downtown Regina

A 53-year-old man is suffering from significant but non-life threatening injuries after he was hit by a car Friday evening.

It happened in the 1800 block of Broad street at around 6:15 p.m.

Police say a car entered Broad Street to head southbound in the lane when he struck the man who had been in the lane.

He was taken to Regina General Hospital to be treated.

Access to the lane was closed off for a period of time. The investigation is ongoing.
