TORONTO – Police are investigating after a toddler found a bag of syringes while playing on the grounds of a Toronto school.
Officers were called to Charles G. Fraser Public School on Manning Avenue, west of Bathurst Street and north of Queen Street West. They say the three-year-old boy scratched his hand in the incident on Saturday evening.

Investigators are trying to determine what was in the syringe.

A similar incident happened earlier this year when a 15-month-old child found prescription pills in a park.
The child did not ingest any of the pills but the mother of the child had to take a pill out of the its mouth.
