The plane arrived at Vancouver International Airport shortly after 11 p.m. with 138 passengers on-board.

B.C. Ambulance Service spokeswoman Kelsey Carwithen said paramedics assessed eight people.

“There were no injuries, no link between the patients, and no one required transportation to hospital,” said Carwithen.

According to WestJet, one passenger reported feeling dehydrated from too much sun exposure. There is no word on the nature of the illness of the other five people.
