A driver has been charged after a vehicle crashed into a storefront in Etobicoke early Friday morning.
The incident happened around 1:30 a.m. on The Queensway just east of Royal York Road.
Toronto police said the driver initially fled the scene but was located by officers a short time later.
The area near the storefront had to be evacuated after a gas line was ruptured in the collision.

The driver, who suffered minor injuries, was charged with fail to remain.
