The Canadian Institute for Health Information released a study that shows our province has the lowest doctor-to-patient ratio in Canada.

In 2011 we had 181 physicians per 100-thousand people, the national average is 203. 

There is a silver lining though across the country the number of physicians has grown 3 times faster than the population over the past 5 years.
