Winnipeg welcomes the cities first little addition for 2017.

Baby girl Wakeman, whose name is still being decided on, was born at 12:57am at the Health Sciences Centre.

The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority tweeted out that the little girl weighed in at just over five pounds.
