Okanagan woman alleges medical malpractice

 

 

A medical malpractice law suit has been
launched after an Okanagan woman alleges she suffered a brain injury in a fall
at the Vernon hospital.
 

  

Shannon Hader-Kohnert of Lumby says she was
at the hospital in December 2010 for treatment of Crohn’s Disease when she was
wrongly given insulin instead of Gravol.

It’s alleged that caused Hader-Kohnert to
black out and she hit her head when she collapsed to the floor. 
 

  

The suit lists two doctors, two nurses,
Vernon Jubilee Hospital and Interior Health as defendants.
