A Kitchener man accused of impaired driving in a horrific crash last fall that killed a London mother and critically injured her infant son has pleaded guilty to five charges.
The crash happened on November 27 on Highway 7/8 in Wilmot Township, just west of Kitchener.

The crash claimed the life of 29-year-old Susana Dumitru and sent her two-month-old son, George, to hospital in Toronto by helicopter.
At the Waterloo region courthouse Monday, 26-year-old Ahmed Darwish pleaded guilty to impaired driving causing death, impaired driving causing bodily harm, dangerous driving causing death, dangerous driving causing bodily harm and failing to provide a breath sample.
A sentencing date will be scheduled on March 16.
