Toronto police and fire crews closed off a section of downtown Toronto on Wednesday afternoon after glass fell from the Trump International Hotel and Tower.

Police responded to the building, located on Bay Street at Adelaide Street West,  just before 1:00 p.m. after a swing stage used to suspend maintenance workers and materials appeared to have shattered a pane of glass on the 35th floor near a terrace.

Paramedics told AM640 one person suffered minor injuries and was treated on scene but was not transported to hospital.
