RCMP have arrested a 48-year-old man in connection with an armed robbery in New Germany, N.S. on Monday.
Police say the suspect entered a pharmacy on Highway 10 shortly after 11 a.m.
Once inside the store, RCMP say the man demanded money and narcotics while he had what appeared to be a handgun. No one was hurt during the robbery.

The suspect originally fled on foot with a quantity of cash and narcotics. However, he was arrested about 90 minutes later by police.

The suspect remains in custody at this time while police continue their investigation.
