Wednesday will be wet and windy in Metro Vancouver

It looks like Wednesday will be another wet and windy day on the South Coast.

Global News meteorologist Mark Madryga says there was a short gap after Tuesday’s storm, but the lack of rain will be short-lived.

“We’ll see part two in the series of storms on [Wednesday]. We have part three for Friday night and Saturday.”

Madryga says people can expect heavy rain across the Lower Mainland, about 30 to 50 millimetres.

“Away from the mountains, including the Fraser Valley and southern sections of Metro Vancouver by late morning and afternoon, those winds will come up, southeasterlies could reach gusts of 70 km/h,” said Madryga.

A Rainfall Warning remains up for Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, and Howe Sound.
