PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. – A 21-year-old man is facing a number of charges after a pregnant Prince Albert woman was killed in a multi-vehicle crash.
Police in the northern city responded to reports of a possible drunk driver around 10 p.m. on Wednesday.
They were attempting to pull over the suspected vehicle when it sped off.

Police say they were not in a high-speed chase when the suspect vehicle ran a red light and slammed into two other vehicles.
Emergency crews had to extricate the driver of one of the vehicles, 30-year-old Chrystal Rivet.
She was rushed to hospital with severe injuries and passed away a short time later.
Among the charges Craig Curtis Kopichanski of Weldon is facing is impaired driving causing death.
