A man in his twenties has been shot multiple times in Mississauga on Thursday night.
Peel Regional Police said officers responded to reports of gunshots fired at Acorn Place and Elia Avenue around 6:45 p.m.
Peel paramedics said they transported a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to hospital.
Police said he has since been taken to a trauma centre, where he is currently in stable condition.

The victim made his to way to an apartment building, which is where he was located by emergency services, according to police.
There is no word on suspect information at this time.
