The TransCanada Highway between Winnipeg and Portage la Prairie has reopened after it was shut down Monday night.
The highway was closed just after 9 pm Monday night and reopened just before 6 am Tuesday morning.

Some smaller highways around southern Manitoba were closed for several hours Monday evening as well.
While no roads were closed for the start of the Tuesday morning drive, some highways, especially north of Winnipeg, had snow packed and slippery sections.
