A 70-year-old woman was released from hospital after being struck by a car in Portage la Prairie Friday.
RCMP first responded to Tupper Street and Saskatchewan Avenue just before 12 p.m. after receiving reports of a crash involving a pedestrian.
The 70-year-old woman was crossing Saskatchewan Avenue heading north on Tupper Street on a green light. A vehicle struck the woman as it attempted to turn left on to Saskatchewan Avenue.
The senior was rushed to hospital with non-life threatening injuries and released Friday afternoon.

The 17-year-old driver of the vehicle is facing charges.
