The French country-castle style abode in the Aspen Woods neighbourhood measures more than 1,350 square metres.

It had originally been listed at $12 million, but was reduced recently to a mere $11.495 million.

The previous record sale in Calgary was $10.3 million for a house in Elbow Park-Glencoe that belonged to former Calgary Flames’ goalie Mike Vernon. (CHQR)
