Yes football fans, you can now see that Louisville superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson is on the B.C. Lions’ negotiation list.
Ooooooh.
Oklahoma QB Baker Mayfield is on the neg. list of the Toronto Argonauts, and the man who beat him in this year’s national championship game — Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa — is on the Hamilton Tiger-Cats’ list.

The CFL’s negotiation list is an important tool for the league. Its purpose is to give teams exclusive negotiating rights with the players who are on their list, should they ever consider playing in Canada.

The CFL has finally taken the wraps off the top-secret neg. list in an effort to generate more buzz about the league during the offseason.
If that’s the goal, then why not publicize all the names?
Better yet, instead of highlighting 90 players — many of whom will never, ever play north of the border — the CFL should be doing all it can to promote the players who make the league so enjoyable to watch.
Sorry CFL, you are showcasing the wrong group of guys.
