The Correctional Service of Canada has contacted RCMP and issued an immediate arrest warrant for two men who were not in the minimum Security unit at Stony Mountain Institution during count Saturday night.
Staff members discovered that William Benjamin Hunter-Garrioch and Dale Jacob Gilchrist were not accounted for during count and officers are asking for any information on the whereabouts of both men.

Hunter-Garrioch was serving a sentence of nine years for attempted murder. He is 21-years-old, 5-foot-7 and weights 126 pounds. He is described as having a scar on his left wrist.

Gilchrist is serving a six year sentence for armed robbery and possession of property obtained by crime. He is 6-foot-2 and has tattoos on his neck, abdomen, chest, arms, hands and right leg.
Both have been unaccounted for since 9:30 p.m. on Saturday night.
RCMP Officers believe the pair could be on their way to Saskatchewan.
Correctional Service of Canada said it will investigate the circumstances of the escape and is working with police to locate both men as quickly as possible.
