A 17-year-old London teen has been arrested and charged with impaired driving following a late night crash in the east end of the city.
London Police say two women were injured after a GMC Sierra pick-up truck collided with a car around 11:15 p.m. Tuesday night on Trafalgar Street near Veterans Memorial Parkway.
Investigators say a 25-year-old woman, who was a passenger in the truck, suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries while a 21-year-old woman in the car suffered minor injuries.

The 17-year-old, who has a full G licence, wasn’t injured.
“We can’t get into the details of the relationship of the two individuals (in the truck),” said London Police Constable Sandasha Bough. “The 25-year-old female was the passenger in the vehicle involved in the collision and she suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries.”
The teen has been charged with driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood causing bodily harm and driving while ability impaired causing bodily harm. They have also been charged with possession of a Schedule 2 substance contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
The driver, whose name can’t be released due to the Youth Criminal Justice Act, is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday.
