In a poll conducted for Historica Canada, only a small amount of respondents found they could identify the achievements of some of Canada’s most notable women.
Many stated it was because Canada lacks in education around women’s achievements. Only three in ten of the people polled say that Canada is doing ‘excellent’ or ‘good’ in informing Canadian youth about women’s history.
