Edmonton – The snow that started falling on Edmonton Thursday morning and continued through Friday has caused havoc on city roads.
The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) responded to 215 collisions from 4:00 p.m. Thursday to 4:00 p.m. Friday.

In addition to those collisions, police responded to 17 collisions involving injuries and another 26 hit-and-run collisions.
26 of the collisions happened during Friday morning’s rush hour. During that time period, two crashes involved an injury.
EPS says officers typically respond to an average of 50 to 70 collisions per day.
