Best Buds Society owner Pat Warnecke has been arrested on seven marijuana-related charges.
Warnecke was charged with:
- Three counts of unlawfully trafficking a controlled substance;
- Three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking;
- One count of possession of the proceeds of crime, under $5,000.

The arrest occurred on April 4, however, the charges date back to March 29, when Regina Police Service searched Best Buds Society for the second time. The searches were part of a city-wide raid that targeted six illegal medical marijuana dispensaries.
Warnecke had his first court appearance on April 5. His next appearance is scheduled for April 12.
