Saskatoon police found crystal meth and a gun after tracking down a stolen truck evading them on Wednesday.
Patrol officers initially spotted the Ford F-150 at the intersection of Confederation Drive and 22nd Street West at around 3 a.m. CT.

A traffic stop was attempted by police, however, the driver of vehicle sped away.

The Air Support Unit (ASU) quickly located the truck and guided officers to its location on Ruth Street, where they successfully used a tire deflation device.
Members of ASU saw three people abandon the vehicle and enter a backyard on Cantlon Crescent in the Nutana Park neighbourhood.
Officers took two women, aged 28 and 54, into custody. A police dog tried to track the third person but was unsuccessful.
Police said the women had crystal meth in their possession.
Both are facing charges of possession of stolen property over $5,000, possession of meth as well as breach charges.
Officers also found a gun in the stolen truck.
