Saskatoon police still searching for man after stabbing at bank

Saskatoon police say a man is recovering from a stabbing that happened during an attempted robbery in the Confederation SC area.

Officers were called to an injured person at a business in the 10-block of Worobetz Place at roughly 4:10 p.m. CT on Thursday.

Police found the 18-year-old man who had been stabbed in the back by a suspect as he was leaving a bank.

He was treated for a non-life-threatening injury at hospital.

Witnesses saw a man fleeing the scene. Officers said they checked the area, but no arrest had been made as of Friday morning.

The man at large is described as Caucasian. He was wearing a black and white mask, a black and grey hoodie and grey pants.

Police are still investigating the matter.
