Winnipeg man faces child pornography charges

A Winnipeg man has been arrested after being accused of uploading and distributing child sexual abuse images online.

Winnipeg police raided a home in the Riverview neighbourhood on June 25 and found child sexual abuse images on an electronic device, they said.

They were notified on April 19 about the images being uploaded to an IP address in Winnipeg.

A 54-year-old man faces charges of possession of child pornography and importing, distributing, selling, or possessing child pornography for the purpose of distributing or selling it.

He is in custody.
