Orillia OPP are investigating after a serious vehicle collision on Highway 12 near Brechin in Ramara Township sent two people to hospital.
According to police, on Saturday at around 5 p.m., a small car struck a motor home on Highway 12.
Police say as a result of the collision, a 42-year-old man from Scarborough was transported to a Toronto area hospital by Air Ornge with life-threatening injuries.
According to police, the driver of the motorhome, a 71-year-old man from Peterborough, was transported to an Orillia area hospital by County of Simcoe Paramedics to be treated for minor injuries.

The OPP central region traffic incident management team was called to investigate the collision forcing a temporary closure of the highway.
According to police, the man from Scarborough remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries.
