Police are investigating after a collision in Clearview Township sent two people to hospital.

According to Huronia West OPP, officers and Simcoe County paramedics were called to the scene of the collision on Wednesday at around 2 p.m.

Police say two vehicles collided in the County Road 10 and Concession Road 12 area.

As a result of the collision, an 86-year-old driver from Wasaga Beach was airlifted to a hospital in Toronto with serious injuries.

Officers say the driver of the second vehicle was taken to a local area hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

According to police, both County Road 10 and Concession Road 12 were closed for the investigation, however, they have both since re-opened.
