Regina Police are investigating a robbery of a vehicle that is believed to be involved in a suspected hit and run.

It happened in the 2300 block of Dewdney Avenue, early Saturday morning (July 28.)

It’s after a 32-year-old male was assaulted by a group of suspects, who stole his wallet, keys, phone and shirt.

Officers rushed to the scene at around 5:07 a.m. after the victim reported he was walking from a nightclub to his vehicle, parked in an alley behind the club.

The stolen vehicle was recovered (damaged) later that same morning in the 1400 block of Argyle Street, where it’s believed to have been involved in a hit and run, sometime the night of July 27/28 in the 1500 block of Garnet Street.

In that incident, an unoccupied vehicle, parked overnight on the block was hit by a vehicle which left the scene.

Fragments of the suspect vehicle were left behind in the collision, which matches the stolen truck.

The 32-year-old victim was left with injuries following the assault.
