Police seeking driver who allegedly struck pedestrian in mall parking lot

Guelph Police are on the lookout for a female driver after a pedestrian was allegedly struck by a vehicle in the Stone Road Mall parking lot on Friday evening.

Reports indicate that the collision occurred sometime around 7:30 p.m. at a crosswalk within the mall’s parking lot.

The vehicle is described as white with four doors. The driver reportedly checked on the pedestrian, who assured her she was “okay,” although suffering minor injuries.

The driver then left the scene prior to providing the victim with further information and before police arrived at the scene.

Police are now looking for the female driver that is described as an Asian woman (possibly of Filipino descent), in her twenties, with shoulder length black hair, and dark-rimmed glasses.
