Ottawa police seize drugs, ammunition from Manotick home

Ottawa police say they are continuing to investigate after seizing cocaine, ammunition and other weapons after a search of a residence in the south end of the city on Friday morning.

The search was conducted by guns and gangs and tactical officers at a home on Manotick Station Road. Police say no one was home when the officers entered the home.

Police are saying that items found in the home include 734 grams of cocaine, a small amount of codeine, gas masks, a cocaine press, brass knuckles, 22-calibre ammunition as well as an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency. Police also say that several other unknown substances were discovered and are now being analyzed.
