Hamilton police looking for Westdale crash witnesses

Hamilton police are looking for the public’s help as they continue to investigate a crash that left a 17-year-old boy with serious injuries.

Police believe there were several witnesses to the crash, which happened around 2:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 4. That’s when an Infiniti drove into an apartment building on King Street West and the driver took off, leaving his teen passenger behind, trapped in the vehicle.

Police believe the Infiniti may have been speed-racing another vehicle, which fled the scene, prior to the crash.
