Niagara police have identified human remains found near Marineland as those of a missing woman.

Police say 53-year-old Wendy Fontaine of Niagara Falls was reported missing in June, after failing to show up for work. Her remains were found last Wednesday in a small wooded area near McLeod Road and Stanley Avenue.

Police say an exact cause of death has yet to be determined, but foul play is not suspected.
