Greg Gardiner is a Greenfield Park resident who lives near the corner of Rolland Crescent and Miller Street.
On a fairly quiet Thursday afternoon, he points to a crosswalk he thinks is problematic because of where it’s located.
“There’s a good chance of having an accident. The crosswalk should be on the other side” of a stop sign, he told Global News.
He says when St. Jude Elementary School is in session, cars drive past the crosswalk right after a stop sign.

“There’s a lot of traffic here, there are school buses in the mornings, it’s really hectic,” another resident, Laura Saldanha, told Global News.

The first day of school for St. Jude’s Elementary in the area is Aug. 30.
