RCMP are investigating a fatal cyclist collision on the North Shore.

RCMP say a dump truck and bicycle collided at around 1:45 p.m. Sunday, as both were heading westbound in the 100-block of West Esplanade.

The cyclist, a 55-year-old North Vancouver man, died.

The cyclist was struck and killed.

The victim’s name has not been released.
