Winnipeg police respond for almost 10 hours to a “serious incident” on Colony St.

Winnipeg Police say they were called to a serious incident in the 100 block of Colony Street on Monday.

They say the call came in at approximately 3:30 p.m. Several police remained on scene until early the next Tuesday morning.

Just before 1 a.m. police say they were able to make contact with the person in question.

The person has since been taken into custody. No injuries are reported.
