RCMP in Airdrie said they found the body of a 34-year-old woman Monday morning who was last seen Jan. 31 at her Crossfield home.

Police confirm Heather Brownlees was found dead in her vehicle, which had gone down an embankment and was not visible to traffic. RCMP said there had been a single-vehicle collision at the intersection of Range Road 292 and Township Road 285.

An RCMP collision reconstructionist is helping investigate and an autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.
