Racial slurs, school shooting threats painted on Wellesley Public School: police

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a recent graffiti incident at Wellesley Public School as a hate crime.

Police say they were called to the school in Wellesley Township and they believe that the graffiti occurred sometime over the weekend.

The graffiti contained racial slurs and threats, with one of the threats “being concerning remarks regarding a school shooting.”

Police are asking anyone with information to call 519-570-9777 ext. 6399 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
