A Hamilton man has been arrested thanks to a concerned citizen.

Police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Cumberland Avenue and Holton Avenue South, just west of Gage Park, around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.

A citizen told police that a beige Hummer SUV was parked with the motor running for several hours.

Police arrested the man in the driver’s seat after finding out the vehicle had been reported stolen from Dundas on Monday.
