The Prince Albert Police Service are investigating the city’s first homicide of 2019.

Police say a 27-year-old man passed away in a Saskatoon hospital after being assaulted in an alley of the 200 block of 12th Street East, shortly after 1 a.m. on Feb. 9.

His name has not been released and an autopsy is expected later this week.
