Multi-vehicle collision injures 3, 1 in life-threatening condition: Frontenac Paramedics

A serious collision has closed a busy intersection during rush-hour in Kingston, leaving three people injured. Frontenac Paramedics say one of those people has life-threatening injuries.

Kingston police asked drivers to avoid the intersection of Gardiners Road and Princess Street just before 4 p.m. due to the collision.

Frontenac paramedics say three vehicles were involved, and as a result of the collision, a woman in her 50s sustained serious life-threatening injuries, while two others were treated for minor injuries.

All three were transported to hospital.

According to Kingston Police media officer Ash Gutheinz, several emergency response vehicles responded to the collision, including Kingston Fire and Rescue and Frontenac Paramedics.

Police say that one person had to be extricated from their vehicle after a collision at the Gardiners Road and Princess Street intersection. Global Kingston

Gutheinz said he believes at least one person needed to be extricated from a vehicle.
