A mugging in Oakville has resulted in an arrest.

Halton police say on March 1, a man was robbed, assaulted and left beside the road, after meeting with three other men in a vehicle near Old Oak Park.

Police say the victim and suspect were known to each other.

On Friday, police say the suspect was located and was in possession of cocaine and codeine.

The accused, a 19-year-old man from Burlington, is now facing several charges including robbery with violence, and possession of a controlled substance.
