Another application for a legal marijuana retail store in Hamilton has moved into the province’s authorization stage.
The prospective operator of Hello Cannabis is looking to set up shop on Cootes Drive in Dundas.
A notice posted on the Alcohol and Gaming Commission’s website says the public comment period will continue until March 27.

According to provincial regulations, cannabis stores can’t be located within 150 metres of a school and must comply with municipal zoning rules.

Canna Cabana’s application for a cannabis retail outlet at the Centre on Barton also remains open for public comment until March 23.
The provincial government aims to have Ontario’s first 25 legal cannabis retailers open for business by April.
